I'm in week 2 of my new class, which is Character and Object animation.

It's already highly frustrating! The directions for the assignments are kind of confusing this week and it's soooo much drawing. Not that I don't love to draw, but drawing repetitive things over and over gets frustrating. Mainly because I'm not so great with proportions yet and it's hard to keep them consistent.

Not to mention it's very hard to stay creative and focused when you're not feeling well and are highly stressed out. *sigh* And my next few classes all look like they're going to be this way. I can't stress enough how much I loathe animation, can I? Really, I mean I know it's good to know the stuff just in case you're ever asked to do it, but I have no intention of being an animator of any kind. I'm not very good at it and it's so tedious and boring to me, so it's not something I would ever choose to be part of my career. I know i'm whining a bit but I gotta vent somewhere!

Anyway, as far as life in general goes....it's not so great. I've recently found out that I can't have children. That was a huge blow to my husband and I since we've been trying to create a family for the last 4 years now. So, that lovely bit of news coupled with the other stresses going on has made things rather distressing lately.

BUT I'll keep plugging through all the drawing and tedious animation and whatever else school throws my way. I know that in the end it's worth all the headaches because it will improve our lives drastically. So /rant off, for now.
